Due to the Government continuing to offer LPG subsidies to consumers only through their PSU’s (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL), all the private LPG companies continue to bleed, and hence, it is decided to discontinue the business of filling and distribution of LPG cylinders.

In the same year, Jaisinh’s father, Mr N.R. Sampat joins the company to help increase business from industrial projects after deciding to retire from The Natural Gas Co. He is a veteran in the LPG industry with a career spanning 35 years with The Kosan Gas Co. which became the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. having been in-charge of setting up LPG cylinder filling plants across Western India.
