On 24th May 2018 Pune Gas signed up to become the channel partners of Honeywell Inc. for their Smart Gas Metering Division, thus proving to be yet another significant day for us. The BK-G1.6/BK-G2.5/BK-G4 previously sold by Germany’s Elster Metering Pvt. Ltd. was bought over and is now wholly owned by Honeywell Inc.
The Gas Flow Meter market in India is extremely competitive. The gas meter is the key instrument for measuring the flow of gas at residential spaces. These are also used in the City Gas Distribution Network; the success of gas flow meters is only gaining momentum with each passing year.
Some of the major players in this sector include Raychem RPG Ltd. and Itron India Pvt. Ltd. both of which own major market share in the country. Given Honeywell’s brand image and automation standards we hope the metering system would bring success to both Honeywell and Pune Gas.
